What are solar panel grants?
Solar panel grants is a scheme that helps homeowners, private tenants and landlords reduce the cost of installing solar photovoltaic (PV) panels. This scheme makes it easier for people to benefit from renewable energy and reduce their electricity bills.
The scheme helps to reduce energy bills by up to 75%, allowing homeowners to save on their energy bills in the long run. It also helps reduce carbon emissions and pollution, making homes more sustainable. Additionally, those with solar panels installed under the scheme may be eligible for Feed-in Tariffs which can generate an income from energy generated.
The savings made from the FiT and energy bill reductions could be over £400 a year for a typical three bed semi-detached home. With solar panel grants, you can get up to £2,500 towards the total cost of installing solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, including all labour costs.
