What are solar panel grants?
Solar panel grants are a form of financial and energy assistance that is covered by the UK governments ECO4 scheme. Under ECO4 households could qualify for a full funded solar panel grant. This is a great opportunity to reduce your energy bills and help the environment by switching to solar power.
To be eligible for a grant, households must meet certain criteria. These include having an EPC rating of D or above, being able to prove savings on their energy bills, and being able to demonstrate how they will use the solar panel system.
Without a grant, the cost of installing solar panels can be expensive, but the ECO4 scheme is designed to help households climb out of fuel poverty and make heating their home more affordable.
